Maine Mall OTTO: Your holiday refueling station

Why do the food court when you can do OTTO?DSC_6507

Tucked away in the office park located just a stone’s throw from The Maine Mall, OTTO’s spacious John Roberts Road location serves as a much-needed respite from the holiday shopping grind.

(While you’re in the shopping spirit, however, you may want to take advantage of our Buy One Get One Gift Card promotion!)

Along with dedicated parking, high ceilings, picnic tables, and an indoor bocce court, shoppers can enjoy pizza by the slice or whole pie, signature salads, and a full array of Maine Root sodas, local craft beer on tap, and wine. (We’re currently serving Autohelm, our collaboration with Rising Tide Brewing Company!)

Whether hitting The Maine Mall, Home Depot, or Clark’s Pond Cinemagic, shoppers have found OTTO to be a welcome addition to Mallside dining options.

In addition to dine-in, The Maine Mall OTTO also offers take-out, catering, and delivery throughout South Portland and parts of Scarborough, Westbrook, and Gorham.

Hours:

OTTO Mallside: One of SoPo’s Hidden Gems

In an unassuming industrial park a stone’s throw from the Maine Mall, sits one of SoPo’s hidden gems.

Don’t blink; you might just miss it.

Tucked between the mall and Clark’s Pond Cinema (and right next door to Maine Escape Games), you will find the most spacious OTTO in Maine.  And one of the only restaurants in Maine with its own indoor bocce court (which doubles as a cornhole court, if you’re so inclined).

Those who have discovered the Mallside OTTO have become enamored with it. Its casual backyard barbecue ambience, the ample parking, and the convenient location make it a great alternative to fast food, and other national chains that line Maine Mall Road.

Keep your GPS on and hone in on it. It’s worth a few passes,” writes Christine B. on Yelp.

A rare gem in [South Portland],” according to Derek B.

Shannon S. writes, “One of those “if you don’t know it’s there, you won’t know it’s there” kinda locations…cozy vibe and pizza was on point.”

Janice B. says, “So happy to find a spot like this near Maine Mall. We grabbed a bite and then went to a movie – perfect!

Ben V writes, “Ordering online for both takeout and delivery have been flawless. Same great pizza as their other locations, and easily the best pizza in the entire state.”

So, whether it’s a night at the movies, holiday shopping, car shopping, or a trip to the hardware store, you can still get your OTTO fix at one of SoPo’s best kept secrets.

Two Ways to Give the Gift of OTTO (and One Way to Receive $500 in Pizza!)

The bad news is that holiday shopping is stressful for millions of Americans. The good news is, um, who doesn’t love pizza?

In an effort to make it easy to give the gift of OTTO this holiday season, we have implemented a brand new super-easy gift card system that is fully integrated with each and every OTTO location, including delivery and online ordering!card_side-photo

Send an OTTO Gift Card via Email
If you’re like some of us, you may prefer to do your holiday shopping in your pajamas from the comfort of your home. Totally not a problem. Just go to ottoportland.com, click on the Gift Card banner, and order a gift card in any denomination to be delivered via email.

Gift Cards via email work pretty much like an Amazon or Barnes & Noble gift card. The gift-receiver will get a stylish, personalized email with all the details, and only needs to print out the email and show it when it’s time to pay. The 12-digit code in the email can also be used for phone orders or online orders. Recipients can go online to check their balances or to reload.

Did we mention that by simply purchasing a gift card online, you (yes, you, the gift-buyer) are automatically entered to win a $500 gift card of your very own? That’s, like, a large pizza every month for two whole years just for giving someone a really cool gift.

Or, Give the Gift of Plastic
If you’re like some of us who aren’t into computers and whatnot, you can give an old-fashioned gift card that can be kept in a wallet or purse (or in a sock, really — who are we to judge?).

Traditional gift cards can be purchased at any of our locations in Maine and Massachusetts. Simply ask your server, bartender, or cashier, and they’ll be happy to assist. Just like our E-Gift Cards, these can be purchased in any denomination, and can be redeemed (or reloaded) at any location — including online orders and phone orders.

See how easy that was? You’re all set! Enjoy the rest of the holiday season!
